Who would’ve thought Chrishell would openly date a non-binary singer?
NOT I! She seemed like a typical all American girl, staying within the lines.
I’m not surprised that Selling Sunset is edging towards political/woke in the reunion. I’m sure people have spoken out about the little to no diversity on the show. Let’s be real, it’s white woman after white woman in Selling Sunset. Maya was the most ethic person they had until they introduced Amanza, then Vanessa and finally Chelsea.
How cute is it that Chelsea met her husband when she was 21? I love her love story with her husband. I personally love Chelsea. I didn’t love her storyline with the drama following behind Christine. I loved seeing the moments with her family. It was so cute.
I like Emma as a character. I feel like she adds the girl‘s girl element. I love how she perfectly fits in but she’s a boss. She has her own business. She obviously loves her family very much. She’s honest and I love how vague she is about her ex fiancé. The fact that she still hooks up with him is so funny to me.
Mary has probably always been my favorite. She has always been the biggest sweetheart on the show. She deserves that title. She definitely made a great manager in Season 5. She reminds me a lot of my team lead at work (also an amazing woman). I don’t love the storyline of her and her husband not getting along because I just want her to be happy.
In the first few seasons, I would’ve thought Heather would date one of the brothers. I did love watching her fall in love and I love how open she is with the media. She has definitely been in that world the longest as Playboy playmate. I think it was a little much how personally she took Amanza’s comments about the kids. Amanza’s comments were valid. I understand why Heather felt very offended. She knew what we could never know as the audience.
Now Amanza, I love that they brought her onto the show. She was a breath of fresh air. I loved that she shared her story with her ex husband and the mystery behind his disappearance. It’s hard to believe that can happen, but it does speak to our healthcare, mental health, and football injuries. I love that she shares her experience as a mom.
Maya doesn’t get enough screen time. I can only assume it is because she had kids and goes back and forth to Miami to be with her husband. I really hope the show is worth it for her. I personally would’ve moved permanently to Miami the moment I popped out the first kid. She is such a brave woman for sharing her story after losing her baby. My heart breaks for her. It’s just such an important thing to share because we as a society expect women to go through child loss in silence and this happens so much more often than we think it does.
Christine, I truly wanted season 5 to redeem her from the villain storyline she developed deeper in each season. Honestly, it was hard to believe anything she said that was relatable. She seemed to backslide every time she opened up. She started with trying to be relatable to quickly switching to pretend she has no feelings. I do love the theories that she didn’t have her own baby but wore a fake pregnancy belly and used a surrogate. There’s nothing wrong with that if you can afford it but it’s hard to believe she went right back to her life before having the baby, especially after sharing such a traumatic birthing story. I don’t love a lot of her storylines. I don’t think the show would have a lot of success if she wasn’t a part of it. She brings the drama. I hate to say that because I love the cast, but there’s too much focus on Christine.
I don’t have much to say about Davina. She definitely was set up to be a villain but worked her way against being stuck with that title. I understand why she changed her style over the season. The show did take a turn from being about real estate to the fashion they wear. I definitely prefer her outfits now. I don’t love the bright pink on her. I feel like it washes her out but she has definitely developed her style.
I’m excited that Jason and Brett are going to be on another show. I definitely saw tiktoks about the fact that one of the brothers had his own brokerage and how that would reflect in the upcoming possible seasons. Well, now we know! The new show definitely is going to be more dramatic than Selling Sunset.
