My tiktok feed was all about the new show based on the book by Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty and I decided I needed to watch it. Except... anyone that knows me knows that I avoid Amazon as much as possible for a few different reasons:
I refuse to pay for a delivery service when I can go to the store myself
I do my best to support small businesses whenever possible
Jeff Bezos is a freakin genius and I am jealous
This was different. I needed a streaming service... I could justify using Prime to stream, but I refused to use my money to fund it. Fortunately, I am working on my masters and have a student email... simple enough right? WRONG!
Amazon is doing its best to avoid letting students redeem their free 6 months. I signed up and tried to look for the trial after signing up and I wasn't even given the option within the app. I did a quick google search found the correct link and went from there.
