The answer is all of them.
The obsession for me started in 2018. I was walking through 2nd & Charles and found a pink penguin. I never felt something so soft that didn't give me goosebumps.
I usually have an aversion to soft fabrics like velvet. I hate velvet...It is an unfortunate sensory trigger for me.
I thought wow I need this and boy I have never been more right. Since that first purchase, I have continued to buy more squishmallows to feed my obsession.
I love how huggable they are. After I got in a car accident, I had such bad driving anxiety, but I brought myself a squishmallow to hold and hug while I drove and it brought me so much comfort. It is scientifically proven that hugging releases a chemical called oxytocin and that releases stress. Oxytocin is a chemical in our bodies that scientists sometimes call the “cuddle hormone.”
They come in a keychain size and you can attach them to your keys or purse. So you can take them everywhere. I have a 24 inch squishmallow that I will rest my feet on in bed. I have a little 2 inch one, a super mini sized one. I have scented ones. I also have a hello kitty squishmallow.
If you keep scrolling down, you will see squishmallows I have brought for myself and others. This isn't my complete collection. I have two mystery bags waiting to be opened. I shall post on tiktok, instagram reels, and pinterest when I finally open them.
Thank you,
Kelly
