Hello! If you're from Pinterest, thank you! See below for all my hair has been through.
One of my latest champagne problems is frizzy hair due to the rainy, warmer weather. Part of the problem is also my hair type and slight damage caused by bleach. I have changed my hair a lot over the years A LOT. My natural texture is wavy.
I tend to avoid leaving my hair naturally in both the texture and color. I find it fun to change my color! My texture is wavy and super moldable, so if I don't use gel, my hair loses its wave easily.
I am definitely a high maintenance kind of girl but minimal effort always. I find one of the best ways to be high maintenance with minimal effort is by investing in good products. Over the years, I have tried a lot of products from low end to high end. My favorite brand right now is Kerastase. If your salon doesn't carry this brand, that's okay, Sephora carries it. I personally buy directly from the Kerastase site. My favorite line is Genesis due to the amazing scent.
Although, I recently purchased from the Chronologiste line. I got the Huile de Parfum, which is an oil with added hair perfume. I also got the hair mask. I love both and use the Huile de Parfum almost nightly to give my hair the moisture it needs since my ends are dry.
Now hair products can do a lot for your hair, but it won't fix everything. One way I maintain the results from the hair products I applied is through the use of a satin cap. There are many different satin caps you can get. Your local small business beauty supply store has plenty affordable options. If you don't have a good beauty supply store (and I am not talking Sally's Beauty), you can always check out Ulta. I am a big fan of Ulta. I can go more into more detail in another post, but just know it is my favorite spot.
A combination of nightly brushing, product, and then sleeping with my hair in a bun under a satin cap has resulted in healthier hair and waking up to low maintenance hair.
